Carl Pei's Nothing has unveiled a concept version of the upcoming Phone (4) featuring a transparent OLED panel on the rear of the device, replacing the iconic Glyph Interface LED strips with a fully functional transparent display.

Transparent OLED Display

The transparent OLED back panel can display notifications, widgets, and even video content while allowing users to see the internal components of the phone through the display when it's not in use. This creates a mesmerizing effect that combines Nothing's transparent design ethos with cutting-edge display technology.

The display uses a new type of transparent OLED developed in partnership with Samsung Display, capable of up to 40% transparency while maintaining vibrant colors and good brightness levels.
